Working together

I work integratively with a view that psychosexual issues are not just purely physical dysfunctions but also both psychological and emotional. Psychosexual & Relationship Therapy offers a confidential and judgment free space, in which to have these difficult conversations.

I work with issues such as:

  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Ejaculation difficulties such as rapid or delayed ejaculation
  • Reducing anxiety around sex, relationships and intimacy
  • Sexual abuse or assault
  • Sexual health issues
  • Compulsive sexual behaviours (individuals/couples)
  • Vulval pain conditions
  • Vaginismus
  • Dyspareunia (pain during intercourse)
  • Sexual orientation questions or insecurities
  • Pornography issues
  • Orgasmic or anorgasmic problems
  • Sexual phobias or aversions
  • Fears around lack of sexual experience
  • Loss of desire and arousal difficulties
  • Conflict and loss of connection in partnerships
  • Pregnancy loss and infertility

What to expect

My gentle, warm, and compassionate approach creates a comfortable space for you to express yourself at your own pace. I am non-judgmental and non-shaming, ensuring you feel safe and valued. Collaboration is key to our work together.

I record your goals in your own words and regularly review our progress. We identify what’s working and address any areas where you may feel stuck. I believe in establishing clear goals, helping you define your short, medium, and long-term aspirations for therapy. During our initial assessment we will determine whether there is a potential need for further investigation from a medical health professional.

Beyond our sessions, I will invite you to use self-help tools, practical exercises and reading/audio materials to do between our sessions via text and email. This ensures accessibility and flexibility in utilising these resources. This will be an invitation to you as an individual or couple to do these in your own time.

I stay up to date with the latest evidence-based research and continuously engage in professional development through the Journal of Sexual and Relationship Therapy, COSRT CPD modules, books, articles, podcasts, and online sessions with experts. I welcome individuals and couples of all sexual orientations, gender identities and sexualities to work with me.
